So, who is AlvinC aka ChewyGummy?
1) A typical guy next door that spends most of the time at home watching TV and going online.
2) An engineering student still doing 2nd year degree when most other peers had started working.
3) A jack of all trade that can do almost everything, but a master of none that is never the best in anything.
4) A 22 year old man that looks like a 17 year old boy and is as playful as one too.
5) A young guy that never dates before and is craving for love but is still wanted by nobody.
6) A blogger that fails big time in blogging regularly and is trying to change this habit.
7) A photography hobbyist like every other dSLR owner found everywhere on the streets.
8) An active fellow that likes most kinds of sports (except swimming) but loves sleep more than anything else.
9) A skinny guy that couldn’t gain weight no matter how much food is being consumed.
10) A grown up that still has to obey a 12am sleeping curfew enforced by parents.

About the blog
The idea of ‘That’s How AlvinC Sees It’ was taken from Sue’s Corner by Sue Sylvester in the musical drama series Glee.
Sue has a segment in the local television news network , WOHN-TV, speaking about her opinion on things usually relating to the theme of the episode of Glee. Then she ends the segment with “And that’s how Sue sees it!” and shaping her hand like a C.
The website in this domain was used to be a photography blog, ‘CG Photoblog’, but the concept couldn’t carry on. Even though armed with a Nikon D40 dslr, the camera wasn’t fully utilized and due to travelling daily with a lousy camera phone, not many blog worthy photographs were taken. It is also not helped by the average lifestyle that lacked event photography opportunities. This resulted in a very low rate of blog updates.
Another reason not to maintain a photography blog is that it is very time consuming trying to transfer, selecting, watermarking, resizing and uploading all those photos taken. There isn’t anymore mood to compose a blog post as the tasks mentioned would be very tiresome and would have already taken lots of energy. Not to mention, a lot of time was also wasted looking for a suitable theme for this blog. Some has this part which is needed, and some has that part which is useful, but never once a theme that has most of everything has been found.
Not wanting to abandon the website or leave the blog as it is, a makeover is needed sooner or later. After a long search for a suitable theme and the design of a satisfied header image, this blog is basically completed.
This new blog runs on the concept of a personal journal, combining a mixture of words and pictures to record the daily happenings and issues, and also personal points of view, as depicts in the blog title itself. I will start my life as a blogger all over again, which means I’ll blog like a newbie, where almost anything will be used to blog about. Fingers cross that updates will be as frequent as possible.
