My first scheduled post!!! LOL

I don’t know when will I be getting the internet connection back.
Since i’m “borrowing’ WIFI from someone in my housing neighbourhood, I shall quickly write a few scheduled post to at least keep my blog updated, at least once a week.

Another batch of photos from my try-out with my DIY product shoot set up.

All photos taken with my Nikon D40 + 50mm f1.8, with a flashgun fired from left & right during the long exposure to create a studio-style lighting.
Added vignette effect in Adobe Photoshop CS2.

I like these photos a lot, so nice can? Worth tiring my eyes out to manual focus.

Last Saturday, I attended the Global Village of the recently concluded AIESEC 2009 International Congress.
Met with many people from all around the world, witnessing their cultural performances and tasting their local treats and titbits.

Will blog about it soon.

It’s been a long long time since I’ve updated this place. Been really busy for the pass 2 months, much more busier than my previous ‘busy period’.

I’ve started my part time work with marketing department of college, and had earned quite some pocket money, enough for me to buy a DSLR backpack.
I’m also being selected to be an ambassador for PC.com-Hotlink college project and I’m so unlucky honoured to be elected as the President of the club we had formed.
S.H.A.R.E Club (Stamford-Hotlink Ambassadors of Recreation & Education) is the name.

The club logo that I had designed. Might need to change this totally if my committee doesn’t like it. >o<

The final examination for my foundation year is also around the corner. I’ve got to start my revision already, leaving me having to desert my blog again after this update. LOL
My scholarship for next year will depends very much on my CGPA for this year. Luckily though, my CGPA for the previous 2 semesters is about 3.94, leaving me with some space for small error. But, *fingers crossed* I hope to maintain my grade points.

I’m waiting for the upcoming Pikom PC Fair to get my hands on an external hard disk drive, couple more SD cards and a 2gb DDR2 RAM. Anyone coming with me?

I bet you’ll be wondering why another teaser. Heehee.

My computer is currently running on low HDD storage, so I could only manage to upload photos from the last memory card into my PC because there aren’t many photos in it. If I were to upload all the photos from DCIM show, it will slows down my whole computer.

Do bare with it while I clear out some unwanted stuffs from PC.

Anyway, these photos were taken at the backstage, after the modelling competition.

I had just submitted my entry for the Sirui Photo Shootout @ DCIM Show 2009, where we have to capture the models on stage posing with Sirui tripods and choose the best picture for the contest.
I love my shot very much, but let’s hope the judges love it too. XD Best 3 entries will win Sirui Professional Camera Tripod. 

I went for the recently concluded DCIM Show 2009. DCIM stands for Digital Camera, Imaging and Media. Kinda disappointed with the event, because it was not a big event as everyone thought it would be.

I went on Friday and Sunday, just for the Velocity Angels Model of the Year 2009 competition. That’s the main focus of the whole event. That was my first ever tryout on model and runway shooting. XD

Since this is just a teaser, let’s crap no more and go straight to some photos.

Watched Dragonball Revolution on Tuesday night, courtesy of Nuffnang. That was my first time watching a premiere, but it was no different from watching during the normal screening, (difference is I’d got to watch it 2 days before it’s official screening), as I was expecting some pre-screening activity. LOL Not going to write any review about it, as it was just ok ok. The fighting scenes weren’t enough.

I went to visit Firewire & Sae Wei in Wangsamaju on Monday, which was a public holiday. I tagged along in Aaron’s car and we met up with Daniel at his house in Taman Melawati. This visit was suggested by Mac_Bone because he was in KL that day (Bukit Jalil to be specific).

The baby boy is very cute, if you want to know his name, ask FireWire or Sae Wei yourself. XD The whole time when we were there, he was sleeping soundly. I bet he must be thinking so noisy these bunch of shouters are. LOL

I shall visit FireWire & Sae Wei again in few months time. The baby boy would be at the right and perfect age to be “threw” around. HAHA

I missed the Annular Solar Eclipse!!! T^T Over here in Klang, it was damn cloudy from 4.30-5pm. Then it rained from 5pm onwards. Wah!!! :bangwall:
